The first ever cave camp in the remote Southern Comfort section of Wind Cave, South Dakota occurred June 13-16, 2008. Carl Bern, Andrew Blackstock, Evan Blackstock, and Larry Shaffer spent three nights in the camp.
Several of us from FRG needed a spring trip to get underground; Doug Kent got Lincoln National Forest permits for some caves in the Guadalupe Mountains of New Mexico. In addition to Doug, we were Ed LaRock, Mike Behn, Jen and Barry Berg.
